Cyber Byte May 2024 - Be Alert to Ticket Fraud.

.Hello and I trust this emails finds you well.

I always welcome feedback from my messaging. One recent feedback was in relation to the grading I have placed on previous messages as being a Cyber Alert. I appreciated the view put forward in relation to this grading and having taken notice, now grade this type of messaging as general crime prevention advice. Thank you again to the provider of that feedback - you will remain anonymous but thank you all the same.

Please find attached the Cyber Byte for May.

Many of us now have moved from booking tickets over the phone to going online.

The rush for tickets and also the price of tickets for some events are both the catalyst and drive for online criminals to take advantage of those of us wanting to have that experience and thrill of attending a live event.

Criminals take absolute advantage of any opportunity afforded to them and they have a total disregard for the effects their criminal actions will have on you.

So to provide you with support, especially in relation to avoiding ticket fraud, the attached guidance piece will highlight aspects for you to consider.

In the meantime, please feel free to share this Cyber Byte with family, friends and colleagues.

Kind regards,

Gordy.
