Deliberate Outdoor Fires

In 2022-23 the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended 12,862 deliberate outdoor fires. Many of these involve young people. Make sure that children and young people are aware of the risks of playing with fire and the consequences of deliberately setting a fire.

Deliberate fires can spread quickly, threatening wildlife, property & people.

Every Tuesday you should 'push the button' to test your alarms, keep yourself safe by making sure that your alarms are functioning.
