Extreme Wildfire Warning

Dear Resident,

An extreme wildfire warning is in place across Scotland from Friday, 11 July, until Monday, 14 July. With dry conditions and sunny weather ahead, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) are urging everyone to enjoy the outdoors safely and responsibly urged people who live within or who may enter rural environments to exercise caution. 

SFRS advises people to always follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and has a range of safety advice for wildfire prevention.

If you have concerns about a fire please dial 999 and ask for the Fire Service.
