Please find below some recent police activity that resulted in arrests. 

Following a series of housebreakings and thefts of vehicles across Edinburgh, a 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged.     The crimes happened between Saturday, 1 January and Sunday, 3 April, 2022. He is expected to appear at court at a later date.

Our Drylaw Locality Initiative Team carried out an intelligence-led investigation last week uncovering a cannabis cultivation & recovering over £200,000 worth of Class B drugs. A 23 y/o man has been arrested & appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

On 4th July 2022, a 16-year-old boy was charged in relation to the theft of a motorcycle from the Leith area on 19th June 2022, along with a number of road traffic offences.

On Tuesday 5th July 2022, a 14-year-old boy was arrested and charged for 28 offences relating to the theft of motorcycles throughout Edinburgh. These charges included numerous counts of theft, as well as a number of road traffic offences. He will appear in court at a later date and is subject to several significant conditions him to prevent further involvement in criminality.
