Your Community - Police Scotland Activity - Wildlife Crime Talks

Dear Resident,

During my engagement this week I have been within Crianlarich Primary School providing pupils an input on Wildlife Crime, wildlife in their local area and how we can help.

Topics covered included the trade in endangered species, badgers, bats, deer and raptor persecution.   

To support this I will be carrying out further engagements at local schools and community groups in the coming weeks.

We are currently fast approaching the winter months and in the midst of the deer rutting season. Please be vigilant on the roads as the deer, including the large reds will often be more active at night, wandering close to main A roads and rural areas.
